Conformal Coating
Coatings are used to protect electronics from the effects of their environment. Properly selected coatings protect against moisture, oils, and other chemical contaminants. Coatings are especially useful for new low power - low current products. Most assemblies will need some masking to keep the coating of certain components, like connector pins.
We apply coatings using Automatic, Semi-automatic, and Manual methods.
Acrylic - Polyester - Silicone - Polyurethane are common coatings.
